1. Dissolve a mild detergent soap/powder to water.

2. Immerse the Barong Tagalog in the water solution for 30 minutes to remove stains and dirt. Don't twist or squeeze it.

3. A soft toothbrush will work to get rid of some hard to remove stains mostly located in the collar and arm holes. Be careful not to brush the hand embroidered parts.

4. Rinse well and place it in a plastic hanger to let the water drip until it dries up.
